You may have noticed that it’s particularly difficult to draw a bike when you are not a professional illustrator or simply not gifted… With Velocipedia his project, the artist Gianluca Gimini wanted to imagine what would look like bikes designed by amateurs.
Since 2009, in his words, Gianluca Gimini “harassing” her friends and strangers for their share of a bicycle drawing… The artist then collected 100 drawings, fun, unusual, unlikely. For him, it’s a fun way to be the executor of projects sometimes made in one minute by people who absolutely not evolve in the design community. And finally, Gianluca comes to this conclusion:
Whatever his age and job, everyone can have extraordinary inventions, wild, new and sometimes brilliant!
