Zapata Racing has achieved the dream of all men and offers you the first video of Franky Zapata flying on the innovation Flyboard® Air.
The Independent Propulsion Unit represents 4 years of hard work for a result exceeding all records:
– Autonomous flight up to 10,000 feet
– Top speed of 150km/h (93,2 mph)
– 10 min autonomy
Franky Zapata simply pulverized the world record for distance flying with his board Air Flyboard, flying more than two kilometers (2,252km) from Carry-le-Rouet and Sausset les Pins (France), at an average altitude of 15 meters over water and a speed of 60 km/h! Note that the previous record was held by Canadian Alexander Duru with only 275.90 meters …
For now the Flyboard Air is only a prototype, but it could one day be marketed.
