“IN EXTREMIS – bodies with no regret“, is a series of images created by Italian photographer Sandro Giordano, who visually manipulates everyday occurrences to create twisted and often hilarious situations depicting people in the moment after a fall. The bodies, posed in awkward positions and photographed from unflattering angles, portray a world falling under the grip of materialism. Giordano explains, “My photos tell the stories of people who live life at an exhausting pace, experiencing sudden blackouts. When the demands of the modern world become too much to cope with, our body rebels against our brain wreaking havoc in our day-to-day life.”

they suck. the concept sucks. what’s this? the joy of pain? the joy of someone’s embarrassment or humiliation? why not throw in some reality with some blood and broken bones? no…not really creative, no message, no real meaning other than profit from someone suffering. mtb.
Those of us who have suffered falls and earned bad injuries may find this offensive. I do.
