RPR stands for RockPaperRobot, a company that focuses its attention on home décor objects that tell a story of their own, by fusing art and technology. One of their most innovative “creations” is a wooden Rubik’s Cube-like coffee table named the Float Table. Composed of cubic wooden blocks that are held in equilibrium by a system of tensile steel cables, the Float Table is not what most of us would call a “regular” table. At a glance, the cubes seem to simply float, defying any principles of physics.
